Support accessible software

Free apps for people with disabilities. Pay what you like, if you like.

What it supports

I build software for people whose bodies don’t cooperate with the usual tools, starting with my own: I am user zero for evo.ablecamera. The apps are free and stay free. Support pays for the hardware they are tested on, the servers they run on, and the time it takes to build them.

  • evo.ablecamera — runs a Canon camera by keyboard, switch, voice or dwell, for photographers with limited hand mobility.
  • evo.polaris — polar alignment for star trackers, for astronomers who cannot crouch behind an eyepiece.

Change or cancel a monthly gift — sign in with the email address you gave, and Stripe sends you a link.

Payments are taken by Stripe for Evomedia.net LLC. Evomedia.net LLC is not a charity, so a gift is not tax-deductible, and it doesn’t buy anything: every app is free either way. The smallest gift is $5 because below that Stripe’s fee takes a large share of it.

Suggest an app

If there is something you need — a device you can’t operate, or a job the usual software makes impossible — tell me. Every suggestion is read, and your email address is only used to reply.
